Got a shot of your local going off? A fave from a recent trip? You could win a complete surfing set-up!

Got a lineup or action shot from land or from the water? That day of days at your local break this winter? Or maybe from a recent surf trip…? If you have a surf shot that gets your juices flowing, submit it to us (thecrew@surfeuropemag.com), and you could win a complete surfing set up (board, wetsuit, accessories) and a holiday for two*. We’ll be publishing the best entries below on a weekly basis and the eventual winning image in the magazine in Surf Europe issue 100 (out July)! Closing date 23/06/13.

Our only rules are:
- You took the shot yourself
- It was taken in the last 12 months
- You are not a professional photographer

A few select entries…

“Took this photo of this Cornish point break last November. Swell and wind forecast looked perfect…and it was sunny! It was midweek so had to take a half day. Unfortunately 30+ people had the same idea. Despite the crowd it still cranked, I had some of the best waves I’ve ever had in the UK.” Photo: Mark Bracey, Truro

“I took this picture last winter in my island Fuerteventura a good day of waves. The rising sun lights up that perfect reef peak and only me and few friends to share it!” Photo: Alvaro Ródenas

“This was my first photo session of 2013 January 5th). The sand was freezing, the sun never showed up and waves were small, but it was fun.” Photo: Sylvain Guionnet

“This was shot on the last day of 2012 in french Basque Country. Random tourists added to a big winter swell offered a good show. A good way to end the year!” Photo: Thomas Lodin.

“Shot in August somewhere in Europe. I like it a lot because there is a strange visual impression when you stare at it: it seems like it’s moving! Riddable or not Riddable? Real wave? Which size? We don’t really care, because lines like this are enough to wake up our surfing imagination, and make us dream of the next session.” Photo: Oscar Chuberre

When it’s cold out as it has been this winter with more snow than the UK has seen in a long ass while, life is better in a Patagonia wetsuit. Boy does the woollen inner lining keep you nice and toasty when you need it, and in the disposable world of today they do a fine job on a durable level too. Better still, we have one of their trusty R3s to give-away and a front zip model at that (coz nobody rocks back zips anymore do they?).

NUMB – a Cold Water Surfing Book by Tim Nunn and Ian Battrick

Six years of travel, searching, cold water surfing & adventure in one photographic travelogue. Surfer Ian Battrick and photographer Tim Nunn have spent months in some of the wilder places in the Northern Hemisphere and this is their story of times where their paths crossed in 200 pages of rich photography. From dealing with bears in the wilderness of Canada to volcanic eruptions in Iceland, driving for days in Norway to surfing heavy slabs in Scotland, this book is a window into some of the less explored corners of the surfing world. Over 200 pages, 400+ photos packed into one hardback book, along with some unique tales from off the beaten track around some of the world’s remotest coastlines in Iceland, Norway, Canada and Scotland. Follow Tim and Ian as they seek out a bit of solitude, adventure and search for waves – meeting classic characters along the way like Timmy Turner, Chris Noble, Raph Bruhwiler, Eric Ramsey, Sepp Bruhwiler, Josh Mulcoy, Pete Devries, Noah Cohen, Toby Atkins, Ryan Turner, Dr Jet Ski Joe and a whole lot more.
