THE PRINCES ISLAND APOCALYPSE

Seems like everyone just wants to pull into gnarly closeouts these days. Or at least that’s what’s been happening at Indo’s new hottest and most unpredictable spot. You probably heard Mikala Jones nearly drowned there earlier this year when he burst his ear drum on the drop and proceeded to take the heaviest rolling a man could pull through. And since then, weirdly, everyone seems to want a piece. You might have seen Bali’s Lee Wilson, Marlon Gerber and W.A.’s Jay Davies truck driving through some beasts. France’s tube specialist Ben Sanchis suffered a shoulder injury on his first wave there a couple months back. And now gladiators Laurie Towner, Dylan Longbottom and Dean Bowen come back with this (actually all shot last April during the same swell Mikala Jones got rumbled). Show me the doggy door!
