Josh Kerr looks back on 2011 - the year he finally requalified

Weirdly, Josh Kerr managed to requalify for the WT this year without dropping off tour and then having to requalify via the ‘QS (despite clearly being one of the most gifted on tour). Which means 1. he either finally got his contest act together. 2. lucked out with the waves. Or 3. both (it all just came together). Here he looks back on his year and some of the highlights. He’ll certainly be one of the better armed older guys on tour when it comes to taking on rookies Gabriel Medina, John John Florence, Julian Wilson and the new judging criteria.
